Tournament Rules

2 MINUTE WARM UP BEFORE EACH GAME - BRING YOUR OWN PUCKS FOR WARM UPS

Ice will be cleaned after each game

Do NOT enter the ice until the zamboni door has closed.

Periods - 3 periods - 15 Minute Running Time

If score differential is 2 goals or less during the last 2 minutes of the THIRD PERIOD the clock will stop at each whistle. If the score reverts back to a 3 goal or more differential then the clock will continue to run.

TIED GAMES - A 3 person shootout will commence at the third period buzzer. Home team decides in 30 seconds which team shoots first. If tied after the first 3 shooters a sudden death shootout will continue. All skaters on the bench are required to shoot before a player may shoot a second time. Same shooting order is not required. Any player serving a penalty at the end of regulation play is not eligible to participate in a shootout.

PENALTIES - ALL penalties will start at the drop of the puck and be running time. MINOR penalties - 2 minutes. MAJOR penalties - 5 minutes. 10 minute misconduct. 3 penalties in a game by the same player - Game misconduct (no additional game). 12 or more penalties in a game automatic removal from tournament. Any blatant intent to injure another player, determined by a game official will result in an automatic game misconduct and suspension from the tournament.

FIGHTING - FIGHTING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!! Any players involved in a fight as deemed by the game officials will receive an automatic tournament suspension and not be allowed to play in any further game.

PLAYING RULES - NO Checking. Red Line Icing. Tag up offside. Slap shots allowed.

TIME OUTS - 1 time out per team per game - 1 minute.
